Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Industrial Sewing Machine Operator with experience using Juki sewing machines to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sewing, assembling, and finishing garments or textile products according to quality standards and production timelines. This role will begin on a 30-day contract with the opportunity to transition to full-time.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate Juki industrial sewing machines (e.g., lockstitch, overlock, coverstitch).
Read and interpret patterns, technical drawings, or production instructions.
Ensure accuracy and quality in all stitched items.
Inspect finished products for defects and make necessary repairs.
Perform routine maintenance on machines and report any issues.
Meet daily/weekly production targets.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Qualifications:
Proven experience operating Juki sewing machines in a manufacturing or textile setting.
Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
Basic understanding of garment construction and fabrics.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in leading teams to meet production targets.
Knowledge of multiple machine types (e.g., bar tack, buttonhole, etc.).
